Dr. Sandeep Talwar is an infertility specialist specializing in Fertility Treatment, Assisted Reproductive Techniques, Gynecology Endoscopy, IUI, IVF, ICSI, Surrogacy, Egg Donor and PESA / TESA. Dr. Sandeep is presently practicing at Southend Hospital in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. She completed MBBS from Medical College, Rohtak in 1985 and DNB from Vardhman Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi in 1994. She has also pursued Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from France in the year 1994. It is advisable to avoid sexual intercourse at least 24 hours before undergoing Pap Smear procedure as inflammation or irritation caused by sperm or semen can lead to certain changes in the test results. Also, any pre-existing infection can lead to inflammation in the cervical tissue which may result in abnormal pap smear result.
